Candude Part 1

Candude is a three-part story following the plot and in the style of Voltaire's "Candide". Where Candide was a satire focusing on the popular philosophies of his time, Candude is a satire of modern philosophies, specifically focusing on and celebrating the queer community. Also, each chapter has an activity, why not.

a passage or two

"...Candude was moved to say, “Dr. Ossoff has well said Gay is OK, but those people preaching about caring about the community didn't make me feel that way at all. I am infinitely touched by your extreme generosity and patience with my ignorance, and equally unimpressed by their thinly veiled hatred masquerading as concern.”

— Chapter 3, on the "no kink at pride" protesters

"Guy™ chuckled to himself at the possible joke while Candude felt he was dangerously close to fainting again."

— Chapter 8, on recounting general gay trauma
